1. SHAURYA NAMAN FOUNDATION
It is the only organization completely dedicated to the families of martyrs and soldiers with no other aim. Founded by Ramesh Chandra Sharma (dada) Shaurya Naman Foundation is more than an organization; It is a tribute to those brave hearts who made the supreme sacrifice. With a vision to serve the families of the martyrs and inculcate a sense of respect and gratitude towards our soldiers, the Foundation has embarked on a great journey of remembrance and service. SNF

2. Bharat Ke Veer
Bharat Ke Veer is an initiative by Ministry of Home Affairs to pay homage to the brave hearts who laid down their lives in the line of duty.
3. Maruti Veer Jawan Trust
Maruti Veer Jawan Trust was established with the sole objective of helping the families of soldiers who lost their lives fighting bravely for our better tomorrows. The Trust provides for the education of martyr’s kids, the family’s health and for other basic necessities. During the major festivals, the trust also sends out gifts to the families as a symbol of love.
4.Sainik Welfare Organisation
SWO is an organization volunteered by retired officers and men which is dedicated to helping the needy soldiers and widows of the armed and parliamentary forces to settle down at the place of their choice giving them an opportunity to live within proximity of available medical facilities and re-employment options which are essential for the fulfillment of human life of a soldier beyond simple survival after retirement.
5. Lakshya Foundation
Lakshya Foundation Lakshya Foundation, founded by a team of selfless volunteers spreads the saga of the sacrifice of our young soldiers. They conduct various events to spread awareness about the wars fought by India to defend its sovereignty. Through these events, they are able to shed some light on the life of our soldiers and also express gratitude towards them and their families.
6. War Wounded Foundation
The War Wounded Foundation was incorporated in August 2002, with the intention of creating long-term avenues for the financial independence of all war — wounded personnel of the Army, Navy and the Air Force.
Aim
Their aim is to ensure that war-wounded personnel becomes productive citizens by participating in the economic development of the Nation. At the same time, they must be able to supplement their pension, including disability pension.
7. Army Wives Welfare Association
The Army Wives Welfare Association works for the welfare of the spouses, children, and dependents of the Army personnel. The foundation aims at social empowerment and skill building of spouses and dependents of Army personnel since inception.
AWWA supports and enhances the official welfare efforts within the Indian Army, focusing especially on the welfare of families, children, and widows of all ranks including retired personnel of the Army.
8. Armed Forces Official Welfare Organisation
AFOWO is a social service organization, functioning with an objective of promoting and facilitating the welfare of Serving and Retired Armed / Defence Forces as well as Para-Military personnel. The objectives of AFOWO, amongst others, include facilitating provisions of residential units by promoting housing schemes in cities all over the country as per the demand of military personnel and their families.
9. Paraplegic Rehabilitation Center
PRC is a Rehabilitation Center meant for the aftercare and rehabilitation of personnel of Defence forces of India who are medically boarded out i.e. retired from service due to Spinal Cord Injury while serving the Nation.
10. Vasantharatna Foundation of Arts
VRFA started as a support system for the families of Jawans martyred in the service of the nation. VRFA aims at building a more secure and sustainable future for the families of martyrs, addressing these families’ needs and rights by working with the government and changing common social perceptions to enable reintegration into society.
Apart from contributing to these NGOs, you can also donate to the National Defence Fund which is set up by the Government of India to promote the national defense effort.
