Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], December 18: Gujarat Science City, Ahmedabad, celebrated National Energy Conservation Day with great enthusiasm. On this occasion, various educational and awareness programs were organized with the objective of promoting sustainable development and spreading awareness about the importance of energy conservation for future generations.
The key highlights of the event were expert lecture sessions.
Dr Hardik Kumar Chaudhary from Gujarat Science City delivered an insightful lecture on the “Significance of National Energy Conservation Day,” emphasising the powerful message, “Energy saved today is energy generated for tomorrow.”
Dr Shubnarayan Sahu, Associate Professor, Adani University, presented an inspiring lecture on the “Need for Energy Conservation Education,” highlighting responsible energy consumption for the next generation.
Additionally, Dr Mihir Velani delivered an in-depth and thought-provoking session on “Net Zero Targets and Climate Change.”
The celebration also featured an Energy Walk, a Poster Presentation Competition, and an Energy Audit Competition. The poster presentations showcased themes such as sustainable development, energy conservation, renewable energy, and energy efficiency.
University professors, college students, school teachers, and a large number of school students participated enthusiastically in this programme.
Through this initiative, Gujarat Science City successfully promoted the importance of energy conservation and raised awareness about sustainable development and Net Zero goals.
