“NDA versus INDIA: The Political Showdown”

Exclusive Politics

When contemplating politics and social justice, the essence that deeply resonates with me is the sacred obligation of our constitution: to wholeheartedly serve the people and safeguard the unity and strength of our nation for generations to come. Political parties acts as a channels, to take initiatives and decisions for the growth of our nation through different laws and policies

Snehaashish Pathak, a political advisor responsible for coordinating collaborative initiatives between different levels of government, gives a very strong point on the topic NDA VS I.N.D.I.A that motive of these alliances of political parties are just to empower the voice of Indian people and reach a level of building a great country.

Mr. Pathak added, as a political observer, just focusing on the battle of acronym of names of the parties, UPA (The United Progressive Alliance) changed its name as I.N.D.I.A. as Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance & eventually after their meeting they unanimously selected “Jeetega Bharat” as the alliance’s resonating tagline, marking the beginning of their campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. BJP party also came up with some innovation in the name as NDA- It symbolizes contribution; everyone here gets credit and everyone contributes. In NDA, ‘N’ means New India, ‘D’ means Developed Nation, ‘A’ means Aspirations of people and regions”, I believe changing and coming up with catchy acronym is good approach but it takes more to get votes and trust from the people as a political individual or a party.

Statements from Opposition party!

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge stated that the alliance is moving forward with determination, and a definitive decision will be reached during the next meeting in Mumbai. He also mentioned that crucial discussions would take place regarding seat sharing and campaign management.

Kharge took a playful dig at the recent meeting of the 38-member BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), humorously remarking that there are some parties whose names have not even been heard of. He expressed hope that the newly formed opposition alliance, having chosen a powerful name, is now focusing its efforts on working for the betterment of society. The alliance’s first step is to scrutinize the constituents of their opposition party and strategize to effectively handle the political responsibilities at hand.

The current NDA has 329 seats in lok sabha today , congress has 157 seats in lok sabha today. So, if we talk about dominance of votes and preferences of alliances in parties, we can never come to conclusion for who can win, because according to a research, people of India votes differently when it comes to state elections and Lok Sabha elections.

Statements of party in charge!

Addressing the NDA leaders’ meeting in Delhi, Honorable Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi Ji paid tribute to former NDA leaders Shree LK Advani, Shree Balasaheb Thackeray, and Shree Parkash Singh Badal, and redefines the meaning of NDA, it is “nation first, security of the nation first, progress first, and empowerment of people first”.

Shri Narendra Modi Ji said there has been a long tradition of political alliances in the country but whichever alliance was formed on the basis of negativity, it never succeeded.

“Politics can have rivalry, not enmity; but opposition abuses us and tries to run us down. NDA govt conferred Bharat Ratna on Pranab Mukherjee, Padma awards on Mulayam Singh Yadav, Sharad Yadav, who were in opposition,” he said.

Agreeing upon the statements of Shree Narendra Modi Ji and adding to it that both the parties have some contradicting statements for each other but I believe this alliance is offering a positive change to solve the economic inequalities and many more problems of the country. He encourages parties to engage in healthy debates, respecting each other’s viewpoints, and finding areas of agreement to build a strong and stable government. This approach not only ensures better governance but also reflects the democratic values on which India’s political system is based.

He emphasized that the Indian economy had moved from the 10th position globally to the 5th position during their tenure, and he assured the attendees that India would rank 3rd globally in the upcoming third term of the NDA government. Honorable Prime Minister Shree Narendra Modi Ji reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the nation’s progress and expressed optimism about India’s economic growth under the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) leadership. He firmly believes that with continued efforts and effective governance, India has the potential to ascend to the position of the world’s third-largest economy during the NDA’s third term in power.

What’s the real challenge of this battle?

The real challenge is everybody is discussing individuals or particular parties as according to their perception followed by their past experience from the work of particular party as a citizen of India. When it comes to the numbers, there are a total of 64 parties involved in the political landscape, with 38 alliances forming the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and 26 alliances comprising the opposing group, I.N.D.I.A. After the successful conclusion of two major gatherings, one featuring INDIA and the other the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), a spirited debate has arisen, focusing on the combined strength and influence wielded by these political alliances.

During their meetings, a significant revelation emerged regarding the potential value of certain parties within the coalition, particularly in specific states and among particular communities. These parties were seen as crucial assets in garnering votes for the coalition in the upcoming elections.

CONCLUSION

Justifying the comments of both parties, the most important fact that emerged is the value of a system that manages societal issues through an alliance working with the agenda of solving problems, rather than merely highlighting them or using them for election purposes. Let’s hope for the best as both parties make crucial decisions and strive to meet the expectations of the people in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections of 2024
