A Legacy of Excellence:

The legacy of the Thaikkattu Mooss family originated in the 19th century, with the pioneering efforts of Sri. Narayanan Moose. In 1924, the Viceroy of India awarded Ashtavaidyan Narayanan Mooss with the highly solicited title of Vaidyaratnam, being a tribute to the family’s nonpareil expertise in Ayurveda. The Vaidyaratnam Oushadhasala was founded in 1941 by Ashtavaidyan E.T. Neelakandhan Mooss. He is also an esteemed receipient of the Padma Shri award.  The former Chairman and Managing Director of Vaidyaratnam Group, late Ashtavaidyan E. T. Narayanan was awarded with the Padma Bhushan, which honored the family’s profound contributions to Ayurvedic medicine.
