With her tender heart, she nurtures not only her own family but also her two thriving businesses, Prosight Academy and Karthika Kala Kendra. A mother, an author, a CEO—each role she embodies with unwavering passion. Her postgraduate degree in Human Resources fuels her mission to shape not just minds but souls. Despite hurdles, she forges ahead; igniting hope and inspiration in every soul she touches.
She won many accolades in school and college up to postgraduation for Classical dancing, Elocution as well as her creativity in various fields. After completing her post-graduation, she started working in the corporate sector for Recruitment and later on as a team leader for branches across India for soft skill training.
In 2016 she started her dream venture – Karthika kala kendra – An Arts, skills, and workshop company with trainers from JJ Institute of Arts and experts in Sculpting, Pottery, Mandala art, Baking and so much more with people visiting from Mumbai and Pune for the workshops.
Always keen on taking up new challenges, Sneha Shetty decided with her husband and business partner to change the landscape of the education system in Vasai Virar by incorporating her Human resources and soft skills training knowledge parallel to Academic growth while teaching students and developing them holistically as good human beings.
With this Vision in mind, She started Prosight Academy at Virar known for being the best classes for Science and Commerce coaching across Vasai Virar zone. More than thousands of students studied in her academy and aced academically in boards, NEET, CET, and JEE exams since the first year of incorporations.
They started with a small group of students and a big dream in a modest-sized room with only 11 chairs but now the academy boasts of 5 huge spacious classrooms, an extensive free library of 3000+ books of various topics, and an activity room where they conduct team-building activities, practical demonstrations, talent hunt events, stress management, and mental health awareness campaigns along with Free self-defense workshop for girl students so that they are empowered for their safety always.
Not only known for teaching excellence, Her academy is also known for encouraging students for training in team-building activities, group presentations, soft skill training, Interview preparations by corporate leaders, and encouraging these young minds for excelling in extracurricular activities on the national level.
It’s always not easy to break stereotypes so she had to face many hardships as well while creating her two business ventures Karthika kala Kendra and Prosight Academy. There were some negative factors around who tried to harm her company and try to destroy her will power. But she was determined that she was on the righteous path to change education system holistically and no one can affect her passion.
There was a phase where she was working during her entire pregnancy period while handling her business but while being admitted in hospital a competitor classes tried to harm her business and went on the inhuman level of asking her to vacate her classes on the next day she had given birth to a beautiful baby girl. But relentless to not get affected and not giving up, she along with her partner contacted the philanthropist and gracious Corporator – Mr. Hardik Raut sir of Bahujan Vikas Aghadi who understanding her situation went out of the way between his hectic schedules and helped her and her business partner in getting rid of the negative elements who were trying to take advantage of her vulnerable situation when she had just given birth and was advised bed rest.
Hardik sir ensured that her business was taken care of by assigning a BVA party member to ensure the negative elements do not try to harm her business. She started working 7 days post-labor delivery to sustain her business when most women are unable to move for 45 days and expanded the business despite threats by competitors around. She aims to continue the social-work of food-distribution to needy and rescuing dogs along with her business ventures.
In this month where Mother’s day is celebrated she is a role model where she carries her baby each day to work and handles her meetings and team of teachers who are doctors, IIT-ians and ensures smooth functioning in management of the academy with a baby on her lap like a true leader.
This not only gives her team the strength but is also an inspiration for the students that life doesn’t stop and If determined one can achieve their dreams in any situation. She plans on working on more of her dream projects, Igniting minds holistically, rescuing more dogs and treating them and enjoying motherhood and journey of entrepreneurship with her beautiful baby and two therapeutic dogs.
