New Delhi: She wants to follow in the footsteps of Sunita Williams and Kalpna Chawla as an astronaut or shine like Indian badminton’s original golden girl Saina Nehwal. Meet Sara Rajput, a young prodigy from Delhi NCR, who has not only been excelling in academics but also in the field of sports.
Sara recently made her alma mater — Manthan School in Greater Noida — proud by securing 97.4 percent in the CBSE class 10th exam. She excelled in all her subjects and came out passing with flying colours.
Sara wants to balance her academics with sports and is looking to pursue both career options simultaneously. She has always been a Saina Nehwal fan and wishes to represent the country in badminton at international level in future. Saina has always encouraged girls to take up sports and Sara has followed that mantra in her life.
Similarly, she nurtures the ambition to become an astronaut like Williams and Chawla to make the nation proud. She has always been fascinated by space research and science and the life beyond universe. Her goals in life are clear and Sara has her eyes firmly set on achieving those goals.
